A blonde woman is down on her luck so she decides to kidnap a child to try to get some extra cash.
She goes to a local park, grabs a kid and pulls him behind a tree. She writes a not that says: “I have kidnapped your kid. Please put $10,000 in a paper bag and put it under the oak tree at Cedar Park.
Then she sticks the note on the kid and takes him home.
The next day, just as she had hoped, there was a paper bag with $10,000 in it under the oak tree. There was a note inside that said, How could you do this to a fellow blonde?
It makes sense and is funnier if it said ‘sends him home’ instead of ‘takes him home’.
I think without that ambiguity, that joke won’t work nearly as well. Problem is, its confusing on the first read. Clever in it’s own way though.
