Christmas Cookies

Mary and her five-year old son were putting cookies for Santa under the Christmas tree when Mary dropped a cookie on the floor. “Don’t worry,” she said, dusting it off before putting it back on the plate.

“You can’t do that,” protested the son.

Mary replied, “It’s okay. Santa will never know.”

He gave his mother a look and said, “So he knows if I’ve been a bad or good kid, but he doesn’t know the cookie fell on the floor?”
